A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gilded throne with a large arched backrest and two golden lion heads flanking the seat, draped with a tiger-stripe cloth. The person wears a saffron-orange robe, a red-orange shawl and a long beaded necklace of gold-coloured beads, with a tilak mark on the forehead, and holds a book or leaf on the lap while smiling. Colourful painted pillars with green and pink patterns frame the hall, and oil lamps and a lit lamp stand are visible at the edges. The seated figure shows distinctive ceremonial cues of saffron clothing, a beaded necklace and a long swept-back hairstyle, so the appearance-based label is a person seated on the throne as a speaker.2013-03-25January 19 20132013-01-19 +1 copiesMarch 13 20132013-03-13A man seated on an ornate gilded throne with lion-head armrests, wearing a red-orange turban, a white forehead mark, a red-orange shawl over saffron-gold garments, and a large brown beaded rudraksha-style mala with gold beads. He wears an orange-saffron robe and shawl, a multi-strand rudraksha mala, a gold pendant necklace, a bangle, and a vertical tilak with a red dot on his forehead. He smiles and raises his right hand in blessing. Brass oil lamps with lit flames flank the throne on both sides. The dark wall behind is plain. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair is not visible, but his saffron robe, rudraksha mala, gold necklace and enthroned seating match the stated presence; the appearance is consistent with the page's claim.2013-01-23December 24 20152015-12-24A seated man in an orange-saffron robe sits on an ornate brown leather throne with gold-carved lion-head armrests, a sanctuary-style setting.
