A barefoot procession of devotees in white dhotis and shirts walks across a stone courtyard beside a carved stone temple wall. A figure in a saffron-orange robe and orange head wrap stands among them with hands folded in greeting; a rudraksha-style necklace is visible on several men. Many devotees wear white ritual clothing and some women wear saris and braided hair. Stone carvings cover the temple gopuram wall, and a wall with signboards is at right.

A photograph of a street outside a temple gateway with ornate carved stone walls and a blue-painted upper tower. A man in a saffron-orange robe and a gold-coloured ceremonial necklace walks barefoot down the middle of the road toward the viewer. Behind him, several people in white dhotis and shirts and a woman in a cream sari with a red-bordered pallu follow. On the left, a woman in a dark red sari with a gold border stands near a striped awning, and a red sign with a vertical stripe of text stands at the right edge. Parked white cars line the road in the background. The man in orange has distinctive long hair and a rudraksha-style necklace, but his face is not identifiable from appearance alone, so this is a person candidate only by compatible presentation.

A photo of an outdoor street scene in front of an ornate, painted South Indian temple gopuram with colourful sculptures. In the centre, a long-haired man in a sleeveless saffron-orange garment smiles and holds his palms together in a greeting with a folded orange cloth, standing beside a silver car. Beside him, a younger man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl and a man with a vibhuti-marked forehead stand near. On the right, a bearded elder in orange robes with a striped border walks by, and a woman in a white sari with gold border and a beaded necklace stands with hands folded. Behind a railing, a crowd of onlookers in red and white watches from a raised platform, and a banner with Tamil text hangs on the building.

Outdoor photograph at a stone temple gateway in Tiruvannamalai, with a carved white gopuram tier and dark granite walls behind a crowd. In the centre, a man with long, swept-back dark hair stands with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing an orange shawl over an orange garment, a yellow sash, and a heavy gold necklace with a pendant. He has a red tilak on his forehead. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts wear black rudraksha malas; one holds a bundle of pink flower garlands. A man in a cream shirt has a grey moustache and red tilak, and a man at right in white holds a flower garland. Several people stand close together in a dense crowd.

Outdoor photograph at a South Indian temple entrance with an ornately carved stone gopuram and a tall temple tower visible through the arched gateway. A procession walks along a stone path: a man in an orange-saffron robe with a gold border, long dark hair, a crown-like orange turban and a heavy gold necklace walks at the centre-right, flanked by men in white shirts and white dhotis wearing rudraksha malas and pendant medallions. A bearded man in an orange shawl walks beside them. A camera operator with a large video camera stands at the right edge, and a garland of red and yellow flowers is visible near the frame's right side. Yellow pole and a printed notice board appear at the left, with men in white shirts and some with tilak marks around them.

Photograph of a group walking out through the stone gateway of a carved temple tower. In the centre, a man with long swept-back hair wears an orange saffron dhoti and a gold necklace with a rudraksha-style garland, walking barefoot with an orange shawl over one shoulder. Around him are other men in orange and white dhotis, one holding a staff, and a bald priest in white. Behind them, uniformed guards and white-clad attendants stand near a black iron gate, while a camera operator in the foreground films the procession. A palm tree and trees sit at right. The dark-haired central figure shows distinctive long hair, orange clothing and gold ornamentation consistent with the Swamiji (probable) appearance cue, given the page's temple visit context.

Outdoor photograph of a procession at a Hindu temple with a tall white gopuram carved with deity figures above dark stone pillars. A central figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears an orange robe with a gold-bordered yellow shawl, a gold pendant necklace and rudraksha-style beads, and holds his palms together in namaskar while walking. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts walk closely; one at left holds a red and yellow flower garland. Several men wear orange or white garments and spectacles, and the crowd fills the foreground. The pale sky and cables appear above the temple roofline.

A street outside a temple gateway at dusk, with a crowd gathered on the roadside. In the centre, a bare-chested man in saffron garments and a white-clad man in white dhoti and shirt stand among several ochre-robed sannyasis and white-clad attendants, with a lit flame in the middle of the group. A photographer in a pink shirt shoulders a camera on the left, and a woman in a green sari stands on the right beside a man in a brown shirt and dhoti. Uniformed police stand behind a dark car and a white vehicle. Large banners on the left and right show a portrait of a smiling elderly man in saffron robes with text in Tamil. Several people wear saffron and white ritual clothing near a stone temple wall with a tall gopuram tower.

Outdoor photograph of a crowd at the entrance of a colourful South Indian temple with a tall, painted gopuram tower and a pillared veranda behind it. A central figure with long, swept-back dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and is barefoot, smiling and gesturing with one hand; a presentation-style cue of long hair and saffron clothing is present, so this is an appearance-based a person candidate. Around him stand an older bearded man in saffron robes, a man in white dhoti and shirt, a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered cloth, and an elderly woman in a pale sari. A silver car is parked at left, and a man in white stands at right. A banner is visible on the temple wall.
