A photograph of devotees dressing a ceremonial deity murti at an ashram shrine. In the foreground a woman in an orange sweater and white dhoti, with dark hair in a bun and small earrings, holds a deity figure draped in a teal and gold silk garment, silver-and-white decorated crown and jewelled ornaments, and an orange-and-maroon cloth. Behind her, two more women in white and orange saris adjust cloth near the figure, while a man in white dhoti stands at the far right. Behind a red-and-orange curtain, an ornate carved stone altar is visible on the left. The setting is an orange-walled hall with a blue cloth on a table holding the murti.2010-12-23December 23 20102010-12-23A woman in an orange cardigan and white dhoti stands at left, dressing metal deity murtis draped in blue silk and adorned with jewelled crowns and necklaces. On a raised red cloth platform with a green cloth skirt stand three deity murtis: a central figure in white dhoti with red-crowned headdress, a green sash and a gold necklace holding a staff, flanked by two figures in brown, gold and white garments with ornate jewellery. Gold arched backdrop behind them and dark red curtains. The devotee is a visible person; the statues are not counted.2014-06-12 +1 copiesJune 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesTwo golden metal deity murtis, a male figure in a red-orange turban with a crown and multiple arms holding a trident-like staff, and a female figure in a white crown and orange sari with heavy garlands and jewellery, stand before a fuchsia draped backdrop and a gold arch. Two women in orange and maroon saris, one with a long braid, stand at the bottom, adorning or touching the murtis, with hands at the figure's arm. A small green parrot perches on the male figure's staff. The setting suggests a temple or wedding-related puja arrangement.2013-04-23 +2 copiesMarch 11 20142014-03-11
