Outdoor procession at a sandy ground in front of an orange-walled building with a green roof. Colourful striped canopies and banana plants frame the scene. A man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair leads, holding a small brass-coloured vessel; beside him a man in saffron cloth with a long plaited hair carries a silver tray with a lamp. Several men in white dhotis and yellow shawls walk with them, one holding a brass pot. Drummers play a large barrel drum and a long wooden horn in the foreground, while a bare-headed man in a white shirt faces away from the camera. Crowd members in the background watch the procession.
