July 27 20082008-07-27A photograph of a rocky, scrubby hillside covered with large reddish-brown and grey boulders and green bushes under an overcast white sky. Around a dozen people are scattered across the rocks: a few men in white shirts and white dhotis sit together near the top, and a man in a blue shirt and dark trousers stands on the upper ridge at right. Several others sit in small groups lower down among the stones, some in light clothing. Their activity appears to be resting and watching from the hilltop.2008-07-27A photograph of a rocky hillside with large weathered boulders in orange-brown and grey, scattered green shrubs, and an overcast pale sky with a thin power line crossing above. A group of about a dozen people sits and stands on the rocks: a man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands in the centre, a man in a white dhoti and shirt sits on the higher boulder at the left, and a man in a pink-and-white shirt sits below him, with several children and younger people in mixed clothing clustered in the middle and on the right. Nothing in the scene shows a ritual, a satsang or a person presence.2008-07-27July 27 20082008-07-27A photograph taken from below of a line of men and boys seated along the top edge of a smooth grey granite rock slope under an overcast sky. Several wear bright clothing: an orange shirt on the far left, a yellow shirt beside a man in white, and red and blue garments among the group. Some lean forward, one points toward the horizon, and several appear to be holding up phones or cameras. No a person candidate is visibly present.2010-09-04A rocky outdoor hillside landscape with large weathered granite boulders scattered across reddish-brown earth, interspersed with green shrubs, small trees and yellow flowering plants under a pale overcast sky. Hills are visible in the background. At the right edge, a few people sit on plastic chairs near the trees, partly cut off by the frame. The scene appears to be a rural rock-strewn site with no ceremony or structure visible.A photograph of a rocky outcrop with large grey boulders under a bright sky, with green shrubs and trees behind. Four or five people sit together on a flat rock ledge at the top of the outcrop, seen from behind; they wear light and white clothes, one in orange-yellow. A pale fence or wall stretches along the right edge behind the trees.Outdoor photo of a group of about 30 people gathered on a bare, sandy mound under a partly cloudy sky. Most wear white shirts and white dhotis; one man in the centre wears an orange-saffron garment. A tall pole flies a red flag with an orange flag beside it. Behind them a scrubby hillside rises with a small white structure on top, and small houses and a tin-roofed shed sit at the edges.2007-03-03August 05 20092009-08-05March 03 20072007-03-03A photograph of a rocky hillside covered with green shrubs, small trees and dry brown grass under an overcast grey sky. Large reddish-brown boulders rise on the slope, with a tall slender tree on the right and a red-tiled roof edge visible at the bottom. No people are present.2008-07-27A photograph taken from a low angle of a crowd of men seated in a row along the top of a smooth grey granite rock against an overcast sky. Several men wear red, orange and blue shirts, white shirts and jeans, and a few hold mobile phones or cameras raised toward the scene. One man on the right wears a red and orange top with cream trousers, and a woman in a green sari sits at the far right edge. No deity, altar or ritual objects are visible, and no one in the frame is identifiable as a person.2010-09-04
