Outdoor photo of a large black Shiva lingam with a yoni-style pedestal rising from the middle of a water tank, decorated with bands of marigold and yellow-and-red garlands and surrounded by fountain jets of water. Many people, mostly in white clothes, stand waist-deep or wade in the water around the lingam, while others sit or stand on red-tiled stepped terraces at the sides. Some devotees in white dhotis and saris stand along the steps, a few in coloured clothing are on the bank, and a tall ornamental structure with yellow and red decorations appears in the background under a pale sky.
