A large black stone Shiva lingam rises from a water tank, with water streaming from its base and spouts. In the foreground a floral-decorated raft carries a seated figure on a red and gold throne, wearing saffron-orange robes, surrounded by garlands of marigolds in yellow and orange. Crowds of devotees wade waist-deep in the water, many in white clothes, some with saffron garments and bare shoulders. Tiered red steps behind the tank hold more people in white, and a tree and open sky frame the scene.
