A night-time street procession moves through a narrow urban lane lined with shuttered shops and hanging wires. Many devotees walk in white dhotis and saris with gold borders, wearing red-and-cream shawls draped over the shoulders and yellow sandal or turmeric marks on the forehead. A man in a white kurta with an orange lanyard and ID badge walks at the centre. On the left, a man in dark clothes carries a young child, and a woman in a pink patterned sari stands at the edge. The crowd is walking in a procession with ritual dress and no visible deity or palanquin in the frame.

Most wear white or cream dhotis and kurta-style clothing with red-and-saffron shawls and orange-brown garlands. A few women in white saris stand near the front, one holding a small child. The central figure is a grey-haired man in white with rimless glasses, a red-striped shawl and an orange mala. Beside him an older woman in white with a red-and-orange shawl and bead necklace stands with hands clasped. At the right edge a man in an orange robe with a red shawl stands with arms folded, and several others wear yellow-tilak headbands. A few individuals are partially visible on the left.

Night photograph of a large crowd of devotees in white traditional clothing with red shawls, standing on a dirt path with hands joined in anjali mudra. Behind them a brightly illuminated, flame-lit structure with hanging tassel decorations and garlands glows against the dark sky. Many participants wear white dhotis or saris with gold borders and red shawls, and several show prayer postures. The scene suggests an evening devotional gathering. Faces are small and distant, and no single individual is clearly identifiable as a person.
