A photograph of a staircase inside a plain cream-walled building with a wooden balustrade and white marble steps. A person in an orange saffron robe with a red-green-yellow flower garland and a red bindi walks up the steps, one hand on the wooden handrail. Behind them, an older man in a cream shirt and white dhoti follows on the stairs. A barred window and a fluorescent light fixture are visible above. Swamiji (probable) is shown in the front figure by the saffron robe, long swept-back hair and ceremonial garland, climbing the stairs during a home visit.

A photograph of a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron robe and a red and green flower garland with yellow marigold strands, standing on a marble staircase inside a cream-walled room. A barred window with a wrought-iron grille and a chandelier is visible behind him, and yellow flower garlands line the doorframe on the right. A second person in pale clothing is partly visible behind him on the stairs. The man's long hair, saffron robe and garland match the page's cues for Swamiji, so this is a probable identification.

A woman in an orange sari with a red bindi and dark hair pulled back stands bowed on a narrow staircase, wearing a long garland of pink and red flowers, white jasmine and green leaves, with a rudraksha mala and a yellow bead strand around her neck. She holds her hands together at her chest. Several saffron-robed monks with shaved heads follow up the stairs behind her, some with rudraksha malas. The walls are pale blue and a copper-coloured pipe runs along the left side.
