A figure in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair sits barefoot on an ornate gold-and-red throne chair, with bare feet resting on a gold footstool. A man in white ritual clothes with a shawl leans in, holding a silver tray and extending his hands toward the seated figure. Behind them, people in white dhotis and kurtas, one woman in a white sari with gold border and a woman in a yellow vest stand near the throne. On the right, a shrine holds a deity murti draped in blue with garlands of marigolds and flowers, brass lamps and kalasha-style vessels. Orange curtains hang from a stone pillar and a red-trimmed gate lies behind, with greenery and a water tank visible. A faded sign on the wall reads in English letters.2010-09-13Outdoor temple courtyard with orange cloth underfoot and an ornate gold throne with red seat cushion in the foreground. A standing person in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, smiling and raising one hand, faces a seated person in a white dhoti and white shawl with a red cloth at the waist, who sits on an ornate golden throne with a red cushion and lion-head armrests. Yellow flower petals fall around the seated figure. At left, a person in white holds an orange tray with a brass vessel and offerings.
