A large outdoor pandal with a red patterned canopy edged in multicolored stripes covers a gathering of a very large crowd, mostly people dressed in white, seated on the ground facing a raised stage. The stage has golden side panels and a golden arched shrine with a seated figure in the centre, surrounded by garlands and flags. Several people in white stand near the stage edges, and a child with braids and flowers sits in the foreground. A deity murti is enthroned on the stage. Bright white sheeting and a steel frame structure surround the scene.
