An elderly bearded man with a shaved head and white beard, wearing a red-and-gold shawl over a bare upper body, pours offerings into the flames with his hands. Beside him, a man in yellow dhoti and bare chest assists with the offering. Around the fire are plates of fruit, flowers, grains and a brass kalasha. A seated man on the left wears an orange robe and a black-and-gold embroidered cylindrical cap, holding a plate with a lamp and offerings. Behind a white stone platform stands a robed figure in white with an orange shawl and long hair, facing a decorated deity murti garlanded with marigold and draped in red. Shelves hold small clay and brass figurines, and framed portraits hang on the walls. A kalasha and brass vessels sit on the platform, with oil lamps and flower offerings in front. A painted tree and pillar form the backdrop. The figure in white with orange shawl shows a long-haired, shawl-clad appearance, but identity is uncertain.2007-10-12
