Photograph of a tall dark wooden dhwaja stambha (flagpole) silhouetted against a pale blue sky, its carved top section decorated with bells hanging from the tiers and a vivid orange flag fluttering from the side. The sun flares behind the carved finial, casting bright rays across the upper pole. No people are visible; the pole rises up through the frame at the center of the image.

Its layered scalloped metal plates have dark studded knobs and a tuft of dried straw or grass sticking out at the top. A red saffron-coloured flag hangs from the pole, with orange ropes running down beside it.
