Photograph of a tall wooden dhwajastambha, a ceremonial flagstaff, silhouetted against a pale blue sky with the sun glowing behind its carved top. The ornate carved finial with pointed tips and a bundle of fibres sits atop a fluted column, with small hanging bells at the tiers. A saffron-orange flag with a darker panel flutters from a rope on the right side. No people are visible. The Dwajarohanam ceremony is the event named on the page, but no ritual detail is shown in the frame.
