2003 -Glimpses From Various ProgramsA photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe and matching orange head wrap, sitting on a mat before a red cloth and a plate of bananas and apples. The seated person extends a hand toward a kneeling man in a plaid shirt and grey trousers who bows forward. Standing onlookers around them include a man in white with a lanyard, a girl in a teal top, a child, and women in saris and bangles.2003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2003 -Glimpses From Various ProgramsFebruary 25 20212021-02-25 +1 copiesA seated figure in an orange robe with long dark hair and a red floral garland sits barefoot on an ornate gold-and-red throne, hands pressed together in namaste. In front of the throne, devotees sit on the floor behind silver plates holding oil lamps, flowers and fruit, and a brass platter stands on a cloth. Several people in white clothes and yellow shawls, some wearing ID lanyards, kneel and fold their hands in prayer; a woman in a yellow-and-maroon sari also sits with palms joined. In the background a painting of a saffron-robed figure hangs above a draped curtain with green leaf garlands, and a small deity murti sits on a side table. A tray of apples and sweets rests on a red-lacquered stand to the right. The seated figure with long hair and orange robe is a probable candidate for Swamiji, based on his long hair, orange clothing and garland, and a seat of honour.2010-01-09A photograph of a devotee kneeling on a woven mat and touching his forehead to the hand of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban. The seated figure, sitting on a red cloth, reaches out with one hand and smiles. A fruit plate with bananas and apples sits on the mat, and a brass vessel is at the lower edge. Behind them, standing onlookers in white dhotis, a man in a white shirt with a lanyard, a girl in a teal top, and women in saris and bangles watch. The scene resembles a blessing or darshan exchange. Probable Swamiji (probable) in saffron robe and orange turban, seated and giving blessing to the devotee.2003-12-19Outdoor photo under a striped tent canopy in red, green, blue and purple. A smiling man with long swept-back dark hair, a pink flower garland and an orange saffron robe sits on a red-cushioned seat, with a red tilak on his forehead; he is a Swamiji (probable), based on long swept-back hair, saffron robe and floral garland. A young man in white with a yellow shawl kneels at left, holding a red tray of fruit and offerings, while a woman in white kneels in the foreground reaching toward the seated figure. Behind them a man in white kurta with a rudraksha mala and glasses stands with hands joined, a girl in white with a mala looks down with folded hands, and an older woman in a teal sari with gold border and glasses stands at right. Another man in orange robes stands at left.2010-02-17A photograph of a padapuja ritual in an indoor room. A figure in saffron robes and a long rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne with hands folded in greeting. A seated man in white kurta and white dhoti pours or offers water over the seated figure's bare feet from a small silver vessel, while a family of devotees sits on white cloth: a woman in green blouse and maroon sari, a man in white shirt, a young girl and a small boy. Other devotees in white and a yellow-shawled young man sit nearby. Standing behind are a man in white with a rudraksha mala and a man in orange robes. Trays hold oranges, apples, sweets, flowers, and brass plates on the floor. The seated figure with the mala and robes on the throne has distinctive long hair and ceremonial jewellery, matching probable Swamiji cues, so the appearance is a probable candidate in person.2009-08-09July 05 20022002-07-05 +2 copies2003 -Glimpses From Various ProgramsMarch 26 20082008-03-26
