Kailasa coimbator december 28th 2021A healing darshan session in a hall with a red-carpeted floor. An elderly woman in a pink floral sari sits in a wheelchair while a seated figure in saffron robes touches her forehead and holds a small object near her hand. A bald man in saffron and another man in saffron stand nearby, and a woman in a green-yellow embroidered salwar kameez and several men in shirts stand in a line of devotees. A woman in white and orange kneels in the lower right, and a flower-decorated white cloth and offering tray sit at the right edge. A saffron-robed figure in the upper right stands near a flower vase. The seated central figure in saffron may be a person, but appearance cues are not distinctive enough to confirm, so this is marked unsure.2008-03-01March 05 20202020-03-05Photograph of an indoor hall at a mass Living Enlightenment gathering in Kancheepuram, with a crowd seated on blue plastic chairs. Many seated devotees press their palms together in anjali. In the centre, a bare-headed older man in a cream kurta with a rudraksha mala has his palms joined and faces a figure in a saffron-orange turban and orange garment with a white shawl, who stands near a window with black circular grille. A woman in a teal sari with white flowers in her hair and another in a blue sari also join palms. Large black speaker cabinets stand behind the crowd.A crowded whitewashed hall with red-painted steel roof trusses and a red-and-white decorated doorway at right. Many local villagers, mostly women and children, stand and crowd in front of a small devotional setup on the back wall. A man in a white kurta with a full beard stands with hands joined near the centre, and a figure in orange robes stands near the altar area. Women wear red, orange, pink and blue saris and salwar, girls wear purple, yellow and red outfits, and boys wear striped and red shirts. Several children hold steel plates or bowls.2022-06-19Indoor group photo at a KAILASA Melbourne gathering: a large seated statue of a guru-like figure in a black headpiece, ornate orange and green dress, and layered white and multicolored flower garlands sits at the centre, with a silver-toned hand raised in blessing. Around it, a crowd of adults and children in saris, salwar kameez, kurta and casual wear sits or kneels on a pink mat, several smiling and posing. A man in a grey shirt and white dhoti stands at left, and brass plates with offerings, flowers and small lamps lie in the foreground. A puja or Jayanthi celebration setting with a visible statue, not a living person.2021-12-28Indoor ritual scene in a plain room with a patterned red-and-cream carpet and framed pictures on the walls. A seated figure in an orange-saffron garment with a rudraksha-style garland and gold necklaces holds up a yellow fruit while a woman in a light blue top and white floral blouse offers a yellow fruit toward them. Fruits, a lamp and a brass vessel sit on a tray before the seated figure, and pink flower garlands decorate a side stand. Around them, roughly a dozen people stand and watch, including women in saris and salwar, children, a man in a maroon shirt at left, and a man in white with a shaved head holding a ceremonial staff at right. This appears to be an annadhan food-offering event.2014-01-01March 05 20202020-03-05Kailasa coimbator december 28th 2021July 10 2022 Sripuram2022-07-10Inside a plain whitewashed hall with a red-trimmed roof frame and a decorated wooden doorway with red kolam-style borders, a crowd of women, girls and children gathers around a central seated figure. The figure wears an orange-red turban and orange garments and appears to be a deity murti or statue rather than a living person. A bearded man in white with folded hands stands at left near the group, and a man in a green shirt and white cap stands at right. Several women wear blue and red saris, a girl in a purple top holds a bundle, and barefoot children in mixed clothes stand close by, some holding steel plates.2022-06-19Indoor photo in a plain white-walled room at an ashram-style centre, with people gathered near a pillar and a doorway. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at left holding a steel vessel. Several women in saris, including orange, blue and peach tones, some wearing face masks, stand close together, one handing an object to another. A boy in a yellow and red t-shirt stands at right foreground. An older woman in an orange-and-yellow sari stands at right, and a person in a blue top kneels near the wall beside brass vessels on the floor. No a person is visible in this frame.
