January 16 20182018-01-16Photo of a temple-corridor scene with a central figure wearing a white shawl over an orange-red dhoti and a large garland of white flowers with red and green accents, with yellow-orange tilak on the forehead. Around him stand men in white shirts, a woman in orange with a white flower garland, and saffron-robed priests with rudraksha malas. A shirtless devotee with a rudraksha-beaded chain and a teal cloth gestures with open hands while speaking to the central figure, and a uniformed officer stands at the right. Pale blue temple pillars and iron gates frame the crowd.2012-07-23Outdoor photo at a stone temple courtyard with carved pillars and a gopuram behind. A man in orange saffron robes with long swept-back hair, a tilak and long rudraksha mala with a gold ceremonial necklace gestures while speaking. Beside him a bald elderly sadhu in orange wrap with a yellow border, rudraksha mala and gold pendant stands with clasped hands. A younger man in orange on the left wears a gold chain and a face mask. A man in a maroon shirt faces them, and a crowd of men in white shirts and lungis watches.2012-05-22 +1 copiesJanuary 18 20182018-01-18Outdoor photo on a dusty dirt ground with trees and a bush behind a wire fence. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala beads and bangles, walks barefoot and looks ahead; the appearance cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure in procession. Beside him a man in a white dhoti holds a tray of yellow flowers, and a woman in a blue sari carries a bag. Other devotees in white dhotis, shirts and a red-shirted boy stand around with hands folded, and a stone-coloured jacketed man stands at left. Several people are visible, roughly a dozen.2011-12-09January 16 20182018-01-16Outdoor photo of a group walking along a narrow dirt path shaded by trees. Foreground, a bald man in saffron-orange robes with a garland of beads, followed by a man in orange with a beaded necklace and a bald man in white dhoti with a red-and-white shawl. A man in a red garment with a long swept-back hair and a garland walks centre-path. On the right, a young man in orange with a garland carries a brass plate of offerings, and another in white dhoti carries a tray. Behind them, more devotees in white and saffron, a red building wall in the background, and a kumkum-marked brass plate visible.2010-12-26January 18 20182018-01-18Outdoor procession under a leafy tree canopy on a black mat walkway. A man in the centre wears an orange-red dhoti and shawl, a gold ornate necklace, a flower garland and rudraksha-style beads, with long dark hair swept back, and his palms are pressed together in greeting; he is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues. Around him, devotees in white dhotis with gold borders and orange-saffron robes carry trays of flowers and offerings, and one person photographs with a phone. A decorated palanquin or chariot with garlands and a purple canopy appears at the left. Roughly fifteen to twenty people are visible.2016-12-23July 23 20122012-07-23Night-time photograph outdoors near a large tree and a building wall. Two central figures with long dreadlocked hair face each other. The figure on the right, bare-chested with a reddish-brown cloth, wears a green leaf garland and a white forehead marking, and holds his hands together in greeting. The figure on the left wears a saffron cloth, rudraksha mala beads and a tattoo on his upper arm, and holds a gold-coloured brass vessel. Behind them a man in a orange shirt with a bold orange tilak, an older man in a white shirt with folded hands, and a woman in a maroon sari stand among onlookers.2017-02-07February 07 20172017-02-07 +1 copies
