Night photograph of an outdoor ritual space lit by a bright open flame in a dark metal cup or bowl on a low stand in the foreground, with a ceremonial fire burning above it. Behind it, a pillared hall with draped fabric and hanging decorations under a canopy, with two bright overhead lights. Several seated figures in red and orange clothing sit along the right edge in rows, partly in shadow, and dim figures stand among the pillars in the middle distance. A wooden frame structure stands at the left. The scene suggests a homa or fire ritual, though no specific ceremony is legible.

Night ritual in an open-air courtyard under a dark roof. A man in an orange-red dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace, stands at centre holding a lit flame on a silver tray above a silver-decorated stand. Around him, many devotees in matching orange-red robes with gold borders sit or kneel with palms joined in prayer, some with rudraksha malas and white markings on their foreheads. Brass lamps and bowls with flames are set on mats in the foreground, and a fan and potted plants stand at the right. The flame and lamps indicate an aarti ritual.

A night homa in an open pavilion, with a large square fire pit blazing at the centre and offerings of fruit and vessels arranged beside it on cloth. A seated crowd of many devotees, many wearing garlands and white or coloured clothing, fills the hall, while priests in white and orange-red garments sit and stand around the fire. Strings of orange leaves and small hanging lanterns decorate the ceiling, and ornate gold and red seats line the foreground.

Night-time outdoor ritual at an open-sided pavilion. Dozens of seated women in saris and salwar kameez, many in orange, red, magenta, blue and yellow, sit on the paved floor facing a raised platform at right. On the platform, a row of women in white and green garlanded saris sit in front of a bright fire pit. Standing near the platform, a man in an orange turban and orange robe holds a lamp, while other robed attendees in saffron and orange stand behind him. A large oil lamp and small lamps are lit in front. A black bull statue draped with garlands sits at left, and a green banner with a world-map graphic hangs at top right.

A night homa in an open-sided pavilion strung with leaf garlands and paper lanterns. A sunken fire pit with a bright flame sits in the foreground, flanked by brass plates of offerings. Several women in red, orange and maroon saris sit cross-legged on low green-cushioned seats in front, facing the fire. Behind them a large crowd of devotees, many men bare-chested in white dhotis and others in saffron and orange clothing, stands with palms joined in prayer. On the left, a carved gold-and-red throne with cushions is set beside a person holding a ceremonial lamp in a red shawl. No identifiable a person is confirmed in this frame.

Night outdoor homa at a temple-like courtyard with a square brick fire pit blazing at the foreground, surrounded by small brass pots, bowls of flowers and fruit, and a kalasha. A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne, wearing a saffron-orange robe and a white floral garland draped over his shoulders, sits to the left, with a sparse sidelight of string lights behind. Five women in orange, red and green saris sit cross-legged on low carved wooden seats in a row facing the fire. A shirtless priest in red dhoti stands at right with a red cloth, and a crowd of seated devotees in white and colourful clothing fills the background under a strand of marigold decorations. Visible crowd and participants indicate a homa or yagna ritual.

A dim hall where many women and some men sit cross-legged on the floor in rows, holding small oil lamps and flames aloft. Most wear saffron-orange garments with dark maroon borders, and several wear rudraksha malas. A woman in the foreground has a vertical tilak on her forehead and holds a small bell. Brass plates with flowers and small brass lamps sit on red mats before them, and more lit lamps are scattered on the floor. The scene appears to be a collective lamp-lit ritual; no a person candidate is clearly visible.
