A golden statue of a seated guru figure wearing an orange-red turban with gold and jewelled ornaments and a green leaf tucked in it. The figure wears an orange-red robe with gold borders, layered rudraksha and pearl malas, ruby-studded gold necklaces, and a leopard-print seat cushion. One hand is raised in blessing, the other rests on the lap. The background is deep maroon drapery, with a partial second statue visible at the right edge. Being a statue, it is a depiction rather than a living person.2014-01-14 +1 copiesA golden statue of a seated guru figure in a rust-orange turban with a jewelled ornament, wearing layered rudraksha malas, white pearl-and-bead necklaces, a gold pendant and a gold-trimmed rust shawl. The figure raises one hand in blessing and holds a staff topped with a gold cobra-like finial, seated on a leopard-print cloth before a purple draped backdrop with gold trim. The figure wears layered gold and jewelled necklaces, a jewelled belt and a rudraksha mala, with the right hand raised in abhaya gesture and the left hand resting on the lap. Behind is a backdrop of gold-embroidered draperies and copper-coloured petal patterns. This is a statue depiction, not a physical person, and the visible cues of turban, saffron-brown robe and ornate jewellery are consistent with a Swamiji depiction, though the face is not identifiable here.2014-08-01January 05 20142014-01-05November 21 20142014-11-21A gilded statue seated on a throne-like chair with deep maroon-orange drapery and gold trim. The figure wears a rust-red turban with a gold jewelled ornament, layered pearl and gold necklaces, a beaded red-and-gold garment, and a golden waistband. The right hand is raised in a blessing gesture and the left rests on the lap. Leopard-print fabric lies beneath, with a golden backdrop of polka dots behind. The statue has a long dark hairstyle and a golden face. Not a living person; the figure is a statue, so no physical people are present. A ceremonial candidate in the statue's appearance is not established, so the identity is treated as unsure.2014-01-22
