Several bamboo poles form a rectangular grid of horizontal and vertical beams. Two workers stand on the upper bamboo cross-members near the left, one in a light shirt and one in pale clothing. A man in a white shirt and dark lungi stands at the left holding a bamboo pole, and another person in light clothing stands at the right near the frame. Behind them are a white building with a thatched roof and blue doors, a water tower, palm trees and leafy trees under a cloudy sky. Blue barrels and scattered bamboo pieces lie on the ground.2007-05-21A photograph of a construction site on a dirt ground at an ashram campus. A bamboo and wooden pole frame is being assembled into a long open shelter structure. Two workers climb on the top of the frame while a third man in a white shirt and checked lungi stands below, and a fourth figure in white walks along the right side near orange-tinted clothing. Scattered timber poles lie on the ground, with palm trees, a blue barrel and a white sack at the left. A two-storey building with a red roof sits in the background under a cloudy sky.2007-05-21A photograph of a cyclone relief site in open grassland with tall coconut palms. A metal pipe frame structure is being erected under a clear blue sky, with a saffron-orange flag fluttering from a pole in the centre. Corrugated tin sheets lie scattered on the ground at lower left, and a man in a white vest stands at the edge of the frame. Several workers are on and around the frame, and a man in a white shirt is at right near a table with steel pots, a large plastic water container and a metal tray. A white-walled building and a corrugated roof appear behind the palms. No readable portrait of a person is visible.2012-01-03A photograph of a bamboo scaffold frame under construction on dusty ground at an ashram site. Three workers are visible: one standing on the top bamboo crossbar at left in a plaid shirt, one in the middle near the top, and one at right in white dhoti and white shirt with a red cloth on his head, working near a blue plastic barrel. Palm trees, a thatched-roof white building with blue windows, stacked corrugated sheets at left and scattered bamboo poles fill the scene.2007-05-21May 25 20072007-05-25May 21 20072007-05-21Outdoor scene on bare, reddish-brown earth at a site with coconut palms, a low wire fence with white posts, and distant construction ground. Several men stand and sit in a loose cluster on the ground near two woven mats laid out in the dust; some wear white dhotis and light shirts, others darker trousers and shirts. Scattered paper scraps and litter lie on the ground around them, and a few people sit on the mats while others stand talking.2006-12-31A photograph of an open-air yagna ground under a thatched and palm-leaf canopy, with bare earth and several round terracotta fire pits (kundas) arranged across the floor. Tall palm and banana-like leaves hang from bamboo poles, and white cloth and dried leaves lie on the ground. In the background a small group of men in white dhotis and shirts stand near the pits, and a figure in a blue-striped lungi walks in the centre. A white van and cars are parked beyond the pavilion, with a pink and white striped awning at right and white plastic chairs at left.2006-07-16January 04 20122012-01-04
