January 02 20132013-01-02A photograph of a temple puja in progress. A man in an orange-brown dhoti and shawl, with a red flower garland, stands at right and touches a golden ritual implement to a set of deity murtis under an ornate gold arch. The central murti wears an orange cloth and garlands of white and red flowers, and two smaller figures flank it, all on a green and gold cloth-covered platform. Behind, an attendant in a white dhoti with gold borders holds a plate of offerings. A video camera with a small screen stands at right, and purple and red drapes hang in the background. Visible details suggest a puja or abhishekam.2013-01-02January 02 20132013-01-02July 07 20092009-07-07June 12 20142014-06-12 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesNovember 01 20112011-11-01February 27 20142014-02-27Photo 11738530Photo 11694010 +1 copiesApril 21 20132013-04-21 +1 copiesA man with long dark hair pulled back and a rust-brown sleeveless wrap with gold border stands at the left, draping white jasmine garlands with red flowers over a gilded deity murti. The murti wears an orange turban, jewelled ornaments and a teal skirt, and sits in front of an ornate gold throne-like backdrop and a turquoise wall with a yellow frame. A tiered crown and a rudraksha mala are visible. The scene appears to be a puja or garlanding offering.2013-05-12
