The figure wears a brown and gold turban with a jewelled crown ornament and a bejewelled pendant. Its bare chest is covered in ornate gold and jewelled adornments, with a red bindi on the forehead and long dark hair. The image is a deity-style murti rather than a living person, so no physical people are shown.2013-12-18November 14 20182018-11-14November 21 20182018-11-21Photo 11744619 +2 copiesPhoto 11724206 +1 copiesA close photograph of a deity murti of Devi Meenakshi, adorned for worship.
