In the foreground a man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala wears a headband and carries a long-handled ceremonial umbrella, wrapping a shawl across his shoulders. Beside him a shaved-headed priest in orange robes holds the red-and-yellow umbrella aloft with tasselled fringe. A temple gopuram with painted figures and a palm tree are visible behind the procession. The scene reads as a ritual parade with saffron-clad monastics leading the way.2012-05-18June 05 20122012-06-05 +1 copiesJanuary 14 20172017-01-14A street procession in a town with shopfronts and brick buildings. At centre, a figure in saffron-orange robes, an orange turban and a rudraksha mala sits in the foreground with palms pressed together in greeting. Beside and behind them, two men wear saffron robes and heavy gold ceremonial necklaces; one has long swept-back hair and glasses. A tall golden staff topped by an ornate fringed umbrella canopy rises beside the central figure. Uniformed police officers in khaki line the procession, and orange flags and a decorated float with a canopy appear in the background among onlookers.2008-04-27January 14 20172017-01-14December 20 20112011-12-20March 13 20162016-03-13 +3 copiesJuly 09 20172017-07-09December 03 20162016-12-03March 10 20132013-03-10
