At left a smiling man in a rust-orange turban, saffron-orange robe, and a heavy rudraksha mala raises one hand in greeting. Behind him, a large deity murti in a white and gold sari-style dress with a gold crown, ornate jewelry and garlands sits on a green-draped seat flanked by two smaller consort murtis in purple and green garments, all heavily garlanded with marigolds and white flowers. The man is a person candidate based on the turban, saffron clothing and rudraksha mala, though his face is not clearly evaluated here.2015-10-18A standing man in an orange-red saffron robe and matching red-orange turban waves with his right hand and smiles, wearing a large gold pendant and a long rudraksha-style mala with gold ornaments. Behind him, on a green-draped platform beneath a gilded arch, sit three ornately decorated deity murtis in gold crowns and jewelled necklaces, garlanded with marigolds and white flowers, one with a red and white crown band. A gold-framed canopy with colourful tasseled fringes stands at the top left. The murtis appear to be a festival procession or Navaratri-related display.2015-10-18October 18 20152015-10-18Photo 11743374 +2 copiesA photograph of a temple-style stage before a golden shrine with a green cloth backdrop. A standing man in the centre wears a deep maroon-red turban, an orange-brown dhoti and shawl, a heavy gold-toned necklace and gold bangles, and garlanded with white and yellow flower strands. He smiles and holds his hands together at his waist. Behind him, ornately dressed deity murti sit on a raised seat draped in white and red, decorated with jewelled ornaments, crowns and red and white flower garlands. A guardian figure stands at the left edge, and a carved golden arch and tasselled canopy frame the top of the scene.2015-10-18Ceremonial scene inside a decorated hall before an ornate golden shrine. A man in an orange-red turban and matching saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a heavy gold necklace and several gold chains, stands centrally with palms joined in greeting. Behind him on a green-draped dais sit two ornately decorated deity murtis, one adorned with white and red flower garlands and a crown, and another with yellow and red garlands. A third small figure sits nearby. Flanking the scene, two men in white ritual dhotis and shawls, one wearing a green-and-gold headdress, stand with garlands around their necks. A colourful canopy with fringed tassels hangs above, and rose petals and flowers are scattered on the floor. The man in the centre has a visible candidate appearance; the page attributes this event to a person and the crown and ornate saffron clothing are consistent with that.2015-10-18A standing man in an orange-brown ceremonial robe and matching turban with a white feather waves his right hand, smiling. He wears layered red and white flower garlands, a long silver-beaded necklace, and a bangle. Beside him, three golden-toned deity murti sit on a red-draped golden throne framed by ornate gold carving and garlands of yellow marigolds and red and white flowers. The central figure wears a crown and a jewelled necklace, and the figures on either side wear dhoti-style and saree-style draped garments in gold and red.2013-12-24October 02 20182018-10-02May 23 20152015-05-23
