In the foreground a hand holds up a silver-toned ceremonial implement with an engraved, leaf-like blade on a long handle, extended toward the viewer. Behind it, a blurred bare-chested figure with dark hair and a beaded necklace stands in front of the flames, with another arm and wrist visible at the lower left. A blurred warm red-orange glow sits in the background. A partially visible person in orange clothing appears at the right edge, but no clear face or body is shown. The background is blurred with warm bokeh lights and indistinct figures seated in a hall, with a red curtain or cloth to the right. The scene suggests an evening aarti or lamp offering, though only the raised hand is clearly visible.2011-11-21
