On the left, young men in white dhotis and shawls sit with palms pressed together, and on the right, women in white saris with orange borders sit in orderly rows. Banana-leaf plates with offerings sit in front of each person. At the far end, a raised throne-like seat with a decorated backdrop holds a robed figure seated in front of a framed portrait, with another person in white standing nearby.
