In the centre, a deity murti decorated with a large garland of flowers sits on a cushioned platform beneath a golden ornate arch. Two men sit on a red carpet in front of the shrine: the one on the left, in white dhoti and garlands, holds a microphone and a sheet of paper, while the one beside him wears orange robes and rudraksha beads and sits behind brass puja vessels, a bowl of offerings and a plate. To the right stands an empty golden throne with red cushions, and a framed portrait of a saint in orange robes sits on its seat. A red umbrella canopy and potted plants frame the scene. A photo-caption printed copyright line appears in the lower right of the frame.2010-11-05November 07 20102010-11-07A photograph of an indoor Hindu temple ritual in a room with white walls and wooden rafters. A man in an orange-saffron robe sits cross-legged before a dark stone shivalingam-style deity murti draped with white garlands, performing a lamp or aarti offering with oil lamps on a brass stand. To the left a man in orange sits on a raised cushioned seat, with a bare-chested or white-clad attendant seated nearby. Behind the deity, a decorated altar holds flower garlands, brass lamps and a framed picture. Seated devotees in red, orange and white saris and dhotis, many with palms pressed together, fill the foreground, indicating a puja or darshan gathering.2007-10-07A night satsang in a temple hall with an illuminated shrine of deity murtis backed by a painted and gilded arch. A seated teacher in saffron-orange robes sits on a raised red-cushioned throne before the shrine. Many devotees in white dhotis and shawls, some in orange or white, sit cross-legged on mats and a red carpet, facing the teacher across a metal railing. A small framed picture and a printed notice hang on the orange side wall. Orange and red drapes frame the shrine.2011-08-13May 02 20122012-05-02 +2 copiesNovember 01 20102010-11-01 +1 copiesDecember 07 20072007-12-07
