Photograph taken from behind a stage at a large open-air outdoor gathering, with an enormous crowd of men in white shirts filling the ground toward a multi-storey building and trees. In the foreground two seated figures face the crowd: a bald man in a maroon kurta with an orange shawl on the left, and a figure in an orange turban and orange garment with long dark hair on the right, seated in a leopard-print chair. A small shaven-headed child sits in the lower foreground. Video cameras on tripods and a sound mixing setup stand at the stage edge, a row of seated people in orange and white is in front of the crowd, and orange flags are visible in the distance. Marigold garlands are draped near the front chairs.

A large outdoor crowd of men fills the frame, mostly dressed in white shirts and trousers, many with orange or saffron headcloths and orange tilak marks on their foreheads. Camera operators on tripods stand at left, one filming with a professional video camera, while others film or photograph with mobile phones. Red and yellow fringed cloth is draped along a bamboo barrier in the middle ground, and a green tarpaulin edge appears at the bottom. The crowd is seated and attentive, facing toward a stage that is not visible in the frame.

A large outdoor gathering seen from behind a figure standing on a red-carpeted stage. The figure has long dark hair, bare shoulders, an orange-saffron garment wrapped around the body, and a white and yellow flower garland with a bead element around the neck. Facing the crowd, they stand near a table with two monitors and equipment. Below the stage, a dense crowd of mostly white-clad devotees, some in orange, fills the open ground, with many photographers and camera operators in the foreground near barricades. Thatched huts, a banner with a portrait, tall stage rigging and green tarpaulin tents appear in the background under an overcast sky. The figure's face is not visible and the appearance is uncertain, so the candidate is marked unsure.
