Photo 11741888Kailasa Paramparagatha Kanchee Kailasa SarvajnapeethamA black-and-white archival photograph of a young boy seated in lotus pose on a spotted animal hide, bare-chested and wearing a white dhoti with a patterned waist cloth. He has a sacred thread-like rudraksha mala draped across his chest, white horizontal stripes painted on his chest, arms and shoulders, and a vertical tilak on his forehead. His hands rest on his knees in a meditative posture against a plain backdrop. Overlaid white text in the upper right reads 10th Chaturmasya, 12 years of age, July 7, 1990. The boy's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to the presence of a person, though the image is a historical print of a child and not clearly identifiable from appearance alone.2023-07-03September 05 20202020-09-05A four-panel collage of photographs showing a shaved-headed boy and later a young man seated in meditation or yoga postures. Panel one shows a bare-chested boy seated cross-legged on a white cloth against a plain background, with a dhoti-like cloth around his waist. Panel two shows a bare-chested youth in a similar seated pose before a rocky, mountainous backdrop. Panel three shows a seated figure in orange-saffron robes in a meditative posture against green hills. Panel four shows a seated figure in orange robes with a bare head, hands in meditation mudra, against a blue-grey background. The panels are arranged left to right in a horizontal strip.2022-05-10 +1 copiesKailasa Paramparagatha Arunagiri Yogishwara Adi Arunachala Sarvajnapeetha Samrajyam +1 copiesKailasa Paramparagatha Sūrya Vaṃśa Chola Samrajya SarvajnapeethamA black-and-white archival photograph of a seated elderly Hindu sannyasi with a shaved head and round spectacles, wearing a light cloth and several beaded necklaces, holding a small object in his hands in front of him. A caption printed beneath the photo names him as the 230th Gurumahasannidhanam of Thondaimandala Aadheenam, Sri La Sri Jnanaprakasha Desika Paramacharya Swamigal. No physical crowd is visible.2021-03-15List of Enlightened Masters & Spiritual Adepts Involved in the Flowering of HDH +1 copiesA black-and-white photograph of a seated man in meditation pose on a patterned carpet before a wall, with potted plants at the sides. He wears a crown-like headdress, multiple strands of rudraksha malas, a large ornate pendant, a draped shawl over a bare upper body, and armbands. His hands rest on his knees with eyes closed. Only one physical person is visible. Identity is not established from appearance; the page excerpt names a person, but the figure's cues are an appearance-based candidate with several distinctive adornments (crown, rudraksha malas, ornate pendant, shawl), so this is a probable depiction-style candidate photographed in person.2012-05-111981 - MAstering the Science of Yoga with Yogi Yogananda Puri +3 copiesA black-and-white photograph, slightly skewed, shows six people posed in two rows against a plain background. Standing in the back row, a woman with long hair and a light blouse is on the left, followed by a man in a white shirt and a man in a dark jacket beside a woman in a patterned top, and a man in a white shirt at the right edge. In the front row, a seated older man in light clothing with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace sits in the centre, with a woman in a dark outfit at the left. The image appears to be an old printed or scanned family-style group photo with no legible text.2012-05-24
