September 23 20112011-09-23A festive outdoor stage with a golden throne at its centre, framed by yellow marigold garlands and red-and-white decorative arches under a white canopy. A man seated on the red-cushioned throne wears a saffron-orange garment with an orange head cloth and holds a garland, with a large gold-and-white umbrella above him. Before him, a row of people in saffron and orange robes sits cross-legged on a white cloth, facing the throne, with fruit, flower garlands and brass vessels arranged on the cloth in front. A cameraman in white stands at the right edge filming, and a woman in saffron sits at the far right. The setting suggests a padapuja ceremony.2008-01-01February 09 20132013-02-09 +1 copiesPhoto 11731100 +1 copiesApril 21 20132013-04-21Photograph of a ceremony on a stage decorated with marigold garlands and yellow flower backdrops. A central figure sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, a gold crown-like headpiece and a canopy above, hands pressed together in greeting. Seated before him are several people in saffron-orange robes, including bearded men and women with long hair, arranged around platters of fruit, flowers and offerings. A man in white with an orange shawl sits at the right edge. The setting is a pink-draped outdoor pavilion with a speaker at the left. The page identifies this as a 2008 Jayanti event, but the figure's appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity from the image alone.2008-01-01January 01 20082008-01-01January 20 20122012-01-20January 01 20082008-01-01January 20 20122012-01-20April 25 20122012-04-25Outdoor stage at a large festival event, decorated with gold and yellow floral backdrop, red and green arched frames and a golden throne-like seat.
