A large black lingam at the centre wears a yellow marigold garland and red flower garlands and rests on a white cloth. A shaved-headed priest in a white dhoti with gold border stands bare-chested at left, hands joined over the lingam. On the right, a man in a white kurta and dark-rimmed glasses stands with hands together in front of the lingam. At far left, a woman in a yellow salwar kameez with a dark shawl folds her hands in prayer. Bright sky and metal railings frame the scene.2011-11-07Outdoor photo on a rooftop terrace with red-painted tiered steps lined with potted plants and rows of black Shiva lingams. At the centre, a black lingam is draped with a white cloth, garlanded with yellow marigolds and white flowers, with a red and white cloth at its base and fruit offerings nearby. On the left, a shaven-headed young priest in white dhoti with gold border and bare upper body stands with palms pressed together in prayer. On the right, a man in white kurta with a sacred thread and glasses stands with hands folded in namaskar. A small brass lamp and a flower basket sit on the step beside the lingam, and a metal railing runs along the stairs. This is a puja at a lingam, with two people visible; neither is identified by name in the scene.2011-11-07September 25 20112011-09-25November 07 20112011-11-07Photo 11744390 +1 copiesNovember 07 20112011-11-07November 07 20112011-11-07
