The man on the left, bare-chested with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace and a gold-bordered cloth at his shoulder, faces the shrine with hands together. The man in the centre, shown from behind with a shaved head, holds an offering toward the altar. The shrine holds a black deity murti draped in a white garland, flanked by brass lamps and a steel vessel on a low wooden stand. Warm lighting and a gold-framed doorway complete the scene, consistent with a puja or aarti at a temple.2012-05-13May 13 20122012-05-13 +2 copiesA photograph inside a small marble-walled shrine room with a wooden floor. Two devotees in saffron-orange cloth stand at a golden ornate throne-like seat (peetha) holding a small figure or padukas, adorned with white garlands and flower strands. One devotee on the left, with hair tied up and gold necklaces, stands with palms pressed together in prayer. The other, bare-chested with a saffron wrap and white flower garland on his head, leans forward to offer or tend the seat. A light fixture hangs above, and a partly visible person stands at the right edge. This appears to be a paaduka puja setting at a shrine.2012-05-28May 13 20122012-05-13
