A bald man in a white dhoti with gold borders and a bare upper body stands at left, pouring liquid from a large brass vessel over the lingam, a ritual abhishekam. Water flows down over the stone base. A red cloth draped around the lingam's back, a large tree trunk behind, and dim lighting. The murti has a garland of yellow flowers draped around it. Behind the priest, a dark granite base and a striped multicolour canopy are visible, with brass pots set in a row on the platform. Another attendant in white bends over at the right, and devotees are seated in the background under floodlights.2016-12-12Photo 1702837A shirtless priest in a white dhoti with gold border and rudraksha mala stands bent forward, pouring liquid from a golden pot over a black Shiva linga inside a shrine niche. The linga sits on a dark yoni-peetha base with a golden lamp-like stand below, and an orange-gold arched backdrop frames it. White tripundra marks adorn his arms and forehead. Pale stone walls and a glass-fronted shrine enclose the scene, indicating abhishekam ritual offering.2022-01-10Photo 11731525September 08 20112011-09-08
