At the centre, a smiling figure with long swept-back dark hair wears a thick red and yellow flower garland, a large gold-toned bead necklace, a brown-orange wrap and gold bangles, and gestures with one raised hand. Probable Swamiji: long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces, a red garland and saffron-orange clothing. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and shirts, a man in a white shirt on the left, and a young man in white with a rudraksha mala holding a tall umbrella pole. A man at right plays a long wind instrument, and women in saris stand behind with hands folded in namaskar. Partially visible people at the bottom edge, one in orange, lean in. A white-draped table stands behind the crowd.Photo 11731168 +1 copiesFebruary 01 20152015-02-01 +1 copiesJuly 02 20162016-07-02Photo 11742724A photograph of a festive crowd gathered outdoors around a central man with long, swept-back dark hair, smiling broadly with a red bindi on his forehead. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulders and a heavy gold necklace, and a large garland of white jasmine and red flowers hangs around his neck. He raises one arm and points toward the people around him. Behind him, devotees in white and orange clothes clap, sing and raise their hands; a woman in an orange shawl and a woman in white with rudraksha beads smile and gesture. In the foreground, a bald man in white kurta is seen from behind, clapping. An ornate gold and red throne stands in the background above the crowd. Probable Swamiji cues: long hair, saffron cloth, gold necklace and floral garland, as the central celebrated figure at a Jayanti celebration.2008-01-01Photo 11731174 +1 copies
