Behind it on a raised platform, priests in saffron and maroon robes and red-and-white garlands perform the ritual, one holding a vessel. A seated crowd in white clothes fills the red stone steps under a blue canopy with string lights. A figure in orange robes sits on a red chair at the side, and a decorated chariot with flower swags stands at the upper right.2013-12-27A large black Shivalingam is draped in multicoloured flower garlands of yellow, orange, white, purple and green, with a silver band across its face and a sweeping garland loop. A raised metal scaffold platform holds several men in saffron and orange robes; one standing man pours liquid from a vessel over the lingam, with a stream of orange liquid visible. Two other robed men stand nearby on the platform. The setting is an outdoor ritual abhishekam on a clear sky, consistent with a Maha Shivaratri worship scene.2015-02-17November 06 20132013-11-06December 27 20132013-12-27
