They wear matching pink and red silk saris with green blouses, gold waist belts, gold necklaces, earrings and bangles, and hair in buns with gold ornaments. Several hold hands together in anjali mudra, a namaste gesture, while one kneels at front center smiling. No a person candidate is visible; the dancers are ritual performers in a stage production.2018-04-14Four female dancers in matching rust-red and gold costumes perform a classical Indian dance on a red stage. Each wears pleated gold-bordered skirts, gold-trimmed blouses, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, white flower garlands on the wrists and hair, and red bindi. They hold open hands in mudra gestures and smile. Behind them is a backdrop with carved temple sculpture of figures and pillars, and a wooden door and wall-mounted air conditioner appear at right.2013-11-02Photo 11689576
