Two metal murtis stand before a large golden seven-headed serpent hood, adorned with yellow marigold garlands and red flower garlands. The central figure wears a silver crown and necklaces, with pink and magenta silk cloth. Brass kalashas wrapped in yellow garlands and draped fabrics flank the platform. In the background, a lit shrine shows a colourful deity image, and a few seated devotees in dark and purple clothing sit near the steps. No people stand prominently in the foreground.2013-10-07February 27 20122012-02-27October 07 20132013-10-07A night photograph of a deity murti adorned with yellow marigold garlands and red rose garlands, standing before a large gilded five-hooded naga (serpent) canopy. The murti wears a crown, layered jewelled necklaces and a magenta skirt. Flanking it are two smaller garlanded vessels or kalasha-like objects with yellow flowers and mango leaves, on a red draped table. On the right, partly visible people sit in a lit shrine, with a deity image in an ornate gilt frame in the background. The scene suggests a temple puja or alankar setting.2013-10-07December 24 20132013-12-24Photo 11737570Outdoor photo of a decorated deity murti of a cobra-hooded form with gold serpent coils and a golden canopy of hoods, dressed in pink and green silk and heavy floral garlands in orange, yellow and red. A woman in an orange-and-gold sari with a red garland stands with hands joined before the murti, a bare white-wrapped arm visible. Behind her a bald man in saffron robes stands with palms pressed together, and a tray of offerings sits nearby. A camera operator is at the left edge. Red-striped steps, potted plants and a red wall form the background.2013-10-05
