A photograph of a large video-wall screen divided into a grid of live video feeds from multiple satsang and puja locations. Labels on the tiles read Surrey BC, Oklahoma Sonnadhanam, Kalahasthi, Los Angeles, Ohio Prayag, Toronto Kalasam, Chidambaram, San Jose Madurai and Guadeloupe. Each tile shows devotees seated in meditation, some with puja trays, oil lamps and offerings, in homes, halls and temple-style rooms. In the lower right, a framed portrait of a smiling figure in a saffron head wrap is garlanded with marigold and flower strands. Most visible people appear in seated or prostrate postures in white, orange and saffron clothing. Because the people are shown on screens, they are not counted as physical people in the room.2013-09-06Photo 11737924Photo 11734404October 18 20132013-10-18October 31 20132013-10-31 +1 copiesPhoto 11737763March 08 20132013-03-08 +1 copiesA photograph of a large display screen showing a grid of nine live video feeds from different locations, each labelled with a white caption such as SURREY BC, HOUSTON KALAHASTHI, SEATTLE CHIDAMBARAM, KUALA LUMPUR - PALANI, GUADELOUPE RAMESWARAM, Oklahoma Somnatham and Ohio Prayag. The feeds show devotees seated on mats and carpets in home or temple shrine rooms, some with deity murtis and garlands, one with a brass tray of kalasha-like vessels with flowers and oil lamps, and one with a man in orange robes seated on a mat. Several devotees appear in the feeds, with a few in saffron and orange clothing, and a shrine with garlanded murtis is visible. The screen sits in front of the audience.2013-09-25Photo 11731600 +1 copiesSeptember 27 20142014-09-27 +1 copiesA photograph of a large video-wall screen showing a grid of live video-conference feeds for a satsang, with a cinema-like frame and a grey wall around it. Each tile is labelled with a city-and-temple name, including Houston Kalashasthi, Charlotte Srisailam, Los Angeles Arunachala, Ohio Prayag, San Jose Madurai, Sharjah, Oklahoma Somanatham, Toronto Kailasam, Kuala Lumpur Palani and Seattle Chidambaram. Participants sit on mats and cushions in ashram-style rooms; some wear saffron and orange robes, others white, and several have shaved or covered heads. One Toronto tile shows a man in dark robes and a head covering seated by a small offering. Altars with deity murtis, orange drapes and a large framed portrait appear in several tiles. The screen shows people only on screens, so no physical participants are in the photographed room; the feeds show seated devotees in groups.2013-11-15November 19 20132013-11-19
