Several boys hold long curved gold-coloured horns to their mouths with raised arms, while others sit beside large barrel drums with cloth-covered sides. Some wear red or orange cloths with gold borders, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and white forehead markings. A glass door, a pale wall and a projection screen appear in the background.2013-12-22Indoor scene of a group of young boys seated cross-legged on an orange and striped cloth on a tiled floor, performing a musical ensemble. Several wear white forehead markings and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces; some wear red cloths draped over the shoulder and others orange garments. Several drums with woven rims and a pair of long golden horns rest in front of them, and one boy holds a drumstick while playing. Plain white walls and a cable-strewn corner are visible behind them.2013-12-22Photo 11739839A group of young boys sit cross-legged on an orange cloth and blue-and-gold striped mat on a tiled floor, performing as a drum and horn ensemble. Most wear orange or red sashes over bare chests, with white tilak marks on their foreheads and beaded necklaces. Several play large barrel drums with woven cane frames, and the foreground boy in red holds a drum while looking ahead. Two boys on the left play long brass horns with gold bands. Wall panels and a cable-lined corner are visible behind them. The setting suggests a temple or ashram ritual music performance.2013-12-22
