A photograph, shown upside down, of a dark grey cylindrical Shiva lingam with a silver band and a white marking, draped in a multicoloured garland of yellow, green, red and black flowers or beads. The lingam rests on a dark stepped pedestal and sits above a reflective water surface in which the image is mirrored. Several birds fly over the water in the lower part of the frame. A metal railing staircase and a red-and-white striped band appear at the edges. No people are visible.2013-10-21November 18 20132013-11-18October 21 20132013-10-21October 14 20132013-10-14A large black Shiva lingam rises from a striped red-and-white square platform standing in still water. Its reflection is visible in the still green water. On tiered red-brick steps behind, rows of smaller black lingams line the terraces. Several saffron-robed monks stand on a metal staircase and platform at the left, some holding objects, while more seated monks in orange robes sit among the lingams at the upper right. Tall grey poles and trees and a hazy sky fill the background.2013-10-21
