Smoke rises from the top of the frame. Silver stand and curved silver handle are visible; a tray of red and yellow flowers sits at the lower left. The blurred background is warm brown. No people are visible; the lamp is an oil lamp used in aarti, and no ritual event is depicted beyond the flame.2018-04-26Photo 11703017 +1 copiesMay 03 20132013-05-03June 25 20132013-06-25Photo 11744487 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a brass oil lamp with a single tall flame, held in cupped hands wearing red nail polish. The lamp has a slender curved stem with a scrolled handle and a small base. The background is softly blurred in white and warm tones, with a sleeve of orange-red fabric at the right edge. The hands suggest a lamp-offering moment.2013-06-27
