Photo 11734708June 04 20132013-06-04Young musicians in orange robes with pink borders perform on red stone steps beside potted plants and a chain-link fence strung with red flower garlands. A foreground musician blows a long brass horn raised overhead, while others play a similar horn, a drum and a blue tambourine; several have white tilak marks, rudraksha malas and bare heads. Behind them a drummer in orange strikes a drum. The scene suggests a ceremonial band performing outdoors.2013-07-29A photograph of a red-painted stepped terrace lined with potted green plants, with a red building with white-framed windows behind it. Several people in orange-saffron robes stand on the upper steps raising long brass horns toward the sky. Two seated musicians sit on the red steps: one plays a large drum and another plays a long wooden flute-like instrument. A woman in a red sari sits near the drummer. A white metal railing and chain-link fence separate the terrace from the building. The pale reddish frame and white railings stand out against the orange robes.2013-06-05February 03 20142014-02-03Outdoor photo of a group of musicians on a terracotta-coloured stepped platform beside a chain-link fence, with potted plants in front. A woman in orange sari stands holding a long curved brass horn raised overhead, and another woman in orange sari beside her also plays a curved horn. A seated woman in orange sari plays a small hand cymbal, and a man in maroon shirt and white dhoti plays a large barrel drum at left. A woman in orange sari stands at far right. Plain white sky forms the backdrop. Five people are visible.2013-06-08Night photograph of a temple-style outdoor stage with terraced steps lined with potted plants. Several young boys in orange and red ceremonial dress perform drumming and horn playing: one boy in front plays a large drum while another blows a long curved brass horn, and a boy at right holds a horn raised overhead. Behind them stands a large dark deity murti. Some boys wear white headbands and bare chests with white sashes. Another performer sits on the upper steps at far right.2013-12-30July 08 20132013-07-08April 21 20142014-04-21July 08 20132013-07-08June 24 20132013-06-24November 18 20132013-11-18
