Inside a dark alcove sits a black stone Naga (serpent) sculpture with a hooded, multi-headed form, a small oil lamp burning at its base. Water and scattered petals lie on the stone floor of the shrine, with pale stone border slabs in the foreground and sandy ground beside the tree. No people are visible.2013-04-27March 11 20152015-03-11A photograph of a shrine set into the base of a large banyan tree, its thick aerial roots and trunk wrapping around a dark stone linga or shrine stone inside a small recess.
