In the foreground left, a bald sannyasi in orange cloth wears a dark rudraksha mala and carries a bundle of red and yellow flower garlands. The central figure, barefoot and wearing an orange dhoti with a gold-trimmed shawl, has a long rudraksha-style gold necklace of pale flowers, a brown waist sash and a white tilak on his forehead. On the right, a bald sannyasi in orange robes with a dark mala holds a folded white paper. Behind them, men and women in orange, white and red clothing climb the steps. A Tamil sign on the wall reads a directive about darshan. The figure at centre appears to be a person of distinctive presentation; identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2012-09-12
