A long-haired man stands on a boat deck holding a silver trident in his left hand and a tall wooden staff in his right. He wears an orange-brown wrap over one shoulder, a wide rudraksha belt, a long necklace of white beads with rudraksha, layered beaded waist strands, and gold armlets. He has white and red vibhuti and a red bindi on his forehead. Behind him, seated figures in orange and white clothes, including a bald man in orange with glasses and a man in orange with a mala, sit on a tiger-striped mat. Swamiji (probable) is the central figure, identified by the trident, long hair, saffron clothing and ornate beadwork; he is presented as the guest of honour on the Varanasi boat tour during the Kumbh Mela period.2013-02-13February 13 20132013-02-13February 13 20132013-02-13Outdoor ceremony on a riverside platform with orange marigold petals scattered on a teal patterned mat. A man with long dark swept-back hair, a red bindi and white ash markings, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, rudraksha-style beaded and silver bead necklaces, and a gold armlet, raises one hand in greeting while holding a silver trident. He stands before a silver-trimmed seat draped with a leopard-print cloth. In the foreground a bald man in orange robes faces him holding a flame lamp. Around them devotees in white and orange kneel and stand with palms pressed together, including a boy in white with a red bead mala, a few women in white and red-bordered saris, and a standing man in a white shirt. A gold ceremonial staff with a sun-disc finial and a red-and-orange flag appear at the edges. The man in the centre matches the a person cues of swept-back hair, a trident-bearing role, saffron and ornate beaded dress, so the visible presence is an appearance-based candidate.2013-02-13February 13 20132013-02-13February 13 20132013-02-13 +1 copiesPhoto 11727255Photo 11733620 +1 copiesA man with long, swept-back dark hair stands outdoors in a saffron-orange draped garment, bare-shouldered on one side, with a red bindi and white sacred marks on his forehead. He wears a long rudraksha mala with large pale beads, matching rudraksha bracelets on his upper arms, a red-brown rudraksha waist cord, and a gold necklace with a gold pendant. His hands are folded at his waist. Behind him are a white ornate panel, a woman in a light shawl smiling, and other people in white and orange, with a saffron flag at the top.
