Left panel: a seated congregation of shaved-headed devotees in white dhotis and shawls faces a shrine with a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure, marigold garlands hanging from the frame. Right panel: a gilded throne with a red cushioned seat holds a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure, garlanded with orange marigolds. Priests in white dress with red-bordered shawls sit before the throne with brass trays of offerings, flowers and small lamps, one priest with hands folded in prayer. The scene suggests a paduka puja honouring the framed figure, with a banyan tree and stone pillars behind the throne.2010-09-29
