The seated figure, on a red velvet-covered throne with gold trim, wears an orange-red turban, white flower garlands and orange robes, and is shown as a framed portrait on a gilded stand rather than a living person. Brass oil lamps and a row of small lamps on a blue cloth sit in front, with bowls of food offerings on a side table. Red and multicolored tassel hangings and red curtains form the backdrop of an indoor hall, consistent with a puja setting.2022-07-13 +1 copiesPhoto 11732492Photo 11730431A photograph of a shaven-headed man in orange saffron robes performing aarti with a multi-tiered silver oil lamp (aarti lamp) lit with flames, standing before a red velvet throne-like seat draped with a gold-and-black patterned cloth. On the seat is a framed portrait of a seated figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a white-and-red flower garland, and a large backdrop portrait shows a smiling figure in an orange turban and saffron garment. Brass lamps, pink flowers in vases, a silver tray with a swan-shaped vessel, and a gold pedestal are arranged around the room with a patterned rug on the floor.2012-09-14
