A large banyan tree dominates the frame, with a broad canopy of green leaves spreading over thick, sprawling horizontal limbs. Many aerial roots hang down from the branches and merge into multiple trunks around a central stem. The ground beneath is bare reddish soil edged by a curved pale concrete path and a low curb, with thin white metal posts at the lower right. No people are visible. Pale sky shows through gaps in the foliage.2008-12-10September 10 20132013-09-10August 23 20122012-08-23A large banyan tree with many thick aerial roots hanging from its wide branches, forming multiple trunks around a sandy, raised earthen base. Low white concrete borders curve across the reddish-brown ground, and green leaves fill the canopy. At the far left edge a small red and white structure and a partly visible figure in red clothing stand near the tree, but no one is prominent in the foreground. The setting appears to be an outdoor grounds area with clear daylight.2008-12-10Photo 11726703 +1 copiesAugust 22 20122012-08-22Photo 11680146Photo 11729725June 16 20162016-06-16 +1 copiesAugust 29 20142014-08-29 +1 copiesA photograph of a large banyan tree with thick, low-spreading grey limbs crossing diagonally across the frame. Many aerial roots hang down from the branches and descend into the trunk cluster. Two circular white-rimmed planting beds sit on bare reddish-brown soil in the foreground. In the background at right, a small brightly coloured deity murti or statue sits beside a red base, partly obscured by foliage. Green leaves appear at the upper left. No people are visible.2008-12-10A large banyan tree dominates the frame, its many hanging aerial roots forming dense grey columns that reach down to a raised circular bed of reddish-brown soil. Broad low branches spread outward above, with green leaves filling the upper canopy. Around the base, a white-edged paved ring and white posts or rails stand among small stones and low plants. A pale boundary wall appears in the background. No people are visible in the scene.2008-12-10
