A procession on a city street shows a golden palanquin (ratha-style canopy) carrying a deity murti dressed in orange cloth and garlanded with pink and white flower garlands and a pink flower. A bare-chested man in an orange dhoti and white upper cloth stands on the palanquin, placing a pink flower on the murti's head. Ornate red, green and blue decorated pillars frame the canopy. Partially visible onlookers in the foreground include a man with a sandalwood or vibhuti mark on his forehead. Shopfronts with Tamil signage line the street.2012-06-04June 04 20122012-06-04 +1 copiesA priest stands at left, bare-chested with a white dhoti and a rudraksha mala, holding a gold tray or plate toward two deity murtis under a canopy.
