Beside them stand red-draped white statues, one with a crown and a seated figure in red with gold trim, with a brass lamp in the lower left. Potted plants and a red-and-white pillar with a Tamil sign behind.2012-06-03Outdoors in a shaded temple courtyard, a person in an orange saffron garment with bare arms and feet bows deeply with forehead resting on the hand against a white and red striped platform. Dark wavy hair falls forward, and rudraksha mala beads hang at the chest with gold bangles on the wrist. On the platform sits a golden kalasha pot with a coconut and mango leaves. Behind are black stone deity murtis, a white-clad attendant holding a garland, green trees, and a stone arch. The scene suggests reverent worship at a shrine.2011-05-17Photo 11731188July 02 20132013-07-02A photo of one person in orange saffron dhoti and shawl bent forward at a carved stone ledge in a temple, hands resting on the stone and head bowed, in a reverent gesture. Bare-shouldered and wearing red and gold bangles on the wrist, with a folded kneeling mat of yellow and white patterned cloth on the stone floor. Behind the stone ledge are brass lamps and a brass dish with an incense stick. Red and white painted pillars and walls frame the pavilion. The figure is shown from behind, so no face is visible, and the figure is a devotee at the shrine, not a clearly identifiable individual.2012-04-17July 07 20092009-07-07A barefoot man in saffron-orange robes with maroon borders bows low with his forehead resting on a stone platform edge carved with floral scrollwork. He wears a rudraksha mala and his hair is tied in a knot at the back of his head. Behind him, a seated white statue draped in orange with an orange turban and rudraksha beads sits on a raised platform, flanked by brass oil lamps and a silver-ornamented deity murti garlanded with yellow marigolds and purple flowers. A red curtain hangs at right and a red-walled building and iron gate stand in the background. The scene reads as a devotional prostration at a shrine.2011-01-31A photograph of a person in an orange-red garment bowing low with their forehead resting on a red-and-blue stone ledge inscribed with Tamil lettering. The person wears long white and gold jasmine garlands, a rudraksha mala, and a gold-coloured bangle-style arm ornament. A brass cup with a wick and red and white flower offerings lie on the ledge at left. The figure's face is partly hidden, and the appearance is not clearly consistent with the page's a person claim, so the identity is uncertain.2015-05-05May 04 20122012-05-04July 25 20122012-07-25
